Opportunity

Not knowing when the dawn will come, I open every door.
Emily Dickinson
Living with hope means we always believe things can get better. The fatalist is resigned to the negative, but the hopeful soul understands that opportunity will knock again, and we should live expectantly.
The Lord is kind and not cruel. So many souls have been beaten and bruised repeatedly and they wonder if anything good will ever come again. They often push on the same tragic door, hoping for a different result. They fail to see that the Lord is creative and new doors are available if they will only raise their view to new fields.
There are many doors of opportunity, but they don’t all have our name on them. We do not know when the glad day will come, or which door will lead to something better. Know that our Creator desires the best for us, and a life more abundant.
